Today we drove to Mt Isa crossing into Queensland.
On the way we stopped at Barkly Homestead, which was such a surprise a lovely oasis in the middle of literally nowhere. Beautiful accommodation, restaurant etc, such an unexpected sight.
We then arrived in Mt Isa, we walked through town and up to the top of the city lookout, with views of the mine.
